Penarth Town Trails

The Society was instrumental in the creation of the literature to promote our Town Trails.

These were a result of collaboration with Penarth Town Council. Following the first two Trails which were the product of a Town Council open competition, all material for the rest of the series was provided by the Society, Alan Thorne being responsible for text and Diana Mead for all illustrations.


Interest in the Trails is ongoing and the Council tries to ensure they are always in print. They are very useful documents giving details about landmarks and building throughout the town, a digital copy of each walk is available on this website under the "About Penarth" menu.
