Royal Hotel
This may have been built in the 1850s, though the Royal Hotel itself opened in 1864.
This is a famous picture of Captain Tupper, a leader of the 1911 seamen’s strike, addressing supporters from the balcony.

The pub was the last watering hole for seamen before they went through the subway to join their vessels.

It is now converted into flats.
